MAXIMMACS is a well-established consulting and training firm in Cameroon, specialising in high-value areas: accounting, tax, audit, management and, more recently, artificial intelligence applied to finance and business. Faced with growing demand from young executives and graduates seeking flexible upskilling, the firm made a strategic decision: to launch its own e-learning platform. ThinkTech Solutions was brought in to design and deploy Train To Rise.
The challenge: training working professionals, not students
Train To Rise’s audience is not a student with long free hours to study. It is a young professional, often already in a position, who wants to deepen technical skills without interrupting their career.
This profile places very specific demands on the platform:
- Dense but well-structured content, accessible in short sessions
- A flawless mobile experience, so learners can pick up where they left off from any device
- A professional interface that reflects MAXIMMACS’s premium positioning
- A catalogue organised by domain, so each learner finds their track quickly
What we built
A performance-optimised Moodle architecture
We chose a Moodle configuration optimised from day one for fast load times and stability as the learner base grows. Media is compressed without perceptible quality loss, and hosting was sized to handle peak concurrent connections.
A domain-structured course catalogue
Train To Rise covers several distinct tracks:
- Artificial intelligence: practical AI applications in finance and management roles
- Accounting: from day-to-day bookkeeping to financial statements
- Management: operational tools, project management, leadership
- Tax: Cameroonian tax law, declarations, optimisation strategies
- Audit: methodology, internal control, professional standards
Each track is independently accessible, with locked progression ensuring learners acquire prerequisites before advancing.
An interface branded for MAXIMMACS
Train To Rise’s visual identity is fully aligned with the firm’s positioning: clean, professional, modern. Custom theme, brand colours, integrated logo, and a homepage designed to convert a visitor into a registered learner.
Full deployment with hands-on onboarding
The handover went beyond technical go-live. We supported MAXIMMACS teams in taking ownership of the platform as administrators: managing courses, enrolling learners, tracking results and publishing new content.
The outcome: a live platform
Train To Rise is now live at www.traintorise.com. The platform is fully operational, the first learners are enrolled, and the catalogue continues to grow as MAXIMMACS produces new courses.
This project reflects a core conviction at ThinkTech Solutions: e-learning in Africa is not limited to the education sector. The professional world has the same continuous learning needs, with even higher expectations for content quality and relevance.
